Iranian actor Hamid Farrokhnejad is expected to join the cast of ‘Lottery’ directed by Mohammed Hossein Mahdavian, playing a key role in the new flick.
A lineup of actors which earlier joined the cast include Javad Ezzati, Ziba Karamali, Saed Soheili, Javad Ezzati and Hadi Hejazifar.
A social media platform on Iranian cinema said the artist is most likely to join the movie and take up a lead, adding, however, the only doubt ahead of collaboration is a possiible clash between the filming schedule of ‘Lottery’ and that of his other movie in development ‘Ninth Symphony’ by Mohammad Reza Honarmand.
The film is gearing up for production to attend the upcoming Fajr Film Festival in Iran, which will kick off in Tehran next February.
Film credits for in-demand director of ‘Lottery’ include titles such as ‘The Midday Event’ and ‘Standing in the Dust’ awarded at previous editions of Fajr National Film Festival.
